► Brief Description

The Masima 2505 M-LNCS YI SpO2 Multisite Reusable Sensor is intended for continuous, noninvasive monitoring of a patient's arterial hemoglobin functional oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (measured by the SpO2 sensor). It has a wide range of application groups and application places, and the monitoring objects are adults, children, infants, and even neonatal patients who are unable to move normally and can move normally. And patients with adequate or hypoperfusion in hospitals, healthcare facilities, mobile settings, and home settings. However, the use of this product is contraindicated in certain populations, including patients with allergic reactions to urethane foam products and/or tapes.

The Masima 2505 M-LNCS YI SpO2 Multisite Reusable Sensor is fixed to the patient's sensor site with Masima straps, but each strap can only be used on a single patient. When monitoring a patient with this YI sensor, the sensor must be removed and the monitoring site inspected at least every four (4) hours or less; depending on blood circulation or skin integrity, the sensor must be replaced with Another monitoring site.

Site selection

• Always choose a site that completely covers the sensor detector window.

• Before placing the sensor, make sure that the monitoring site is free of debris.

• Choose a site that is well perfused and least restricts the movements of the conscious patient.

• The sensor should not be placed in the ear, if detection in the ear is required, the Masima M-LNCS/LNCS/LNOP TC-I reusable sensor should be used.

• Neonate (1-3 kg), Standard Strap/CleanShield Strap/Foam Strap:

The preferred location should be under the fourth toe on the outside of the foot, or under the fourth finger on the outside of the palm.

• Infant (3-10 kg), standard small harness/foam harness:

The preferred location should be under the fifth toe on the outside of the foot, or under the fifth finger on the outside of the palm. For babies with enlarged or swollen feet, the big toe or thumb is recommended.

• Adult (> 30 kg) and Child (10-50 kg), Standard Strap/CleanShield Strap/Small Strap/Foam Strap:

The preferred site is the middle or ring finger of the non-dominant hand. There is also the option of a big toe or a second toe.
