The following instructions describe how to remove and replace the battery cover.
get ready
1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the spatula from the holder and remove it from the device.
3. Turn the machine over.
Rotate the device so that the handle is facing you. The battery cover is located at the bottom left.

Removal
1. Remove the battery cover.
Remove the 7 screws as shown below.
Tip: The screws have a size code, only remove the T10 screws.
2. Lift the battery cover.
Replacement
1. Check the battery PCA and battery eject spring.
a) Make sure the bottom edge of the battery PCA is in the slot in the package.
b.) Check that the spring pushes the battery all the way into the compartment.
c) Check the direction of the battery discharge spring. The correct orientation is such that the spring is angled slightly towards the battery PCA. not from the battery holder The inclination of the spring can be adjusted as desired by rotating it while holding the spring in its seat.
2. Insert the battery to compress the spring and adjust the PCA.
a) Slide the battery into the battery compartment. Make sure the battery is level and not moved out of place.
b) When the battery locks into place, slide the PCA battery into place and squeeze the battery release spring and battery PCA spring.
3. Replace the battery cover.
a) With the battery in place Replace the battery cover from one end of the battery PCA, see below.
b) Insert the tab of the cover into the corresponding hole next to the battery spring. Then lower the cap so that the square columns of the cap fit into the groove of the housing.
c) Insert all 7 screws and tighten.
