20193-083 Erbe neutral electrodes are disposable. They are suitable for electrosurgical devices that provide monopolar electrosurgery. The adhesive surface is applied to the patient's skin, close to the electrosurgical site.
This patient board requires a 5m reusable patient board cable or a 4m reusable patient board cable.
Erbe Nessy Omega Plate is suitable for all ages, including children. It is made of thin and elastic parts.

Electrosurgery is the most commonly used surgical technique in the operating room. In almost every operating room, and in all disciplines, electrosurgical equipment is used.
Monopolar and bipolar techniques are differentiated based on the circuit (unit/instrument/patient). For monopolar electrosurgery, a return electrode is applied to the patient's body to conduct high-frequency current. In bipolar technology, the circuit is closed with a bipolar instrument such as tweezers.
NESSY Ω® can be placed freely without facing the surgical area. The outer contactless equipotential loop distributes the current evenly to the inner contact surfaces, thus avoiding unwanted leading edge effects.
Another advantage: NESSY Ω® is smaller than traditional return electrodes. So it can also be used on smaller patients and is easier to place.
