Care and Cleaning

Make sure your screen, cables and accessories are free of dust and dirt. After cleaning and disinfection, carefully inspect the equipment. Do not

use if you notice signs of deterioration or damage. If you need to return the equipment to Philip, you must first disinfect it. Please note the

following general precautions:

• Always dilute according to the manufacturer's instructions or use the lowest concentration possible.

• Do not allow liquids to enter the housing.

• Do not immerse any part of the device or its accessories in liquids. • Do not spill liquids on the system.

• Never use abrasive materials (such as steel wool or silver chalk).

• Never use bleach.

Warning

If liquid is spilled on the device, battery or accessories, or if they are accidentally immersed in liquid, contact service personnel or a Philip service

technician. Do not use the equipment until it has been tested and approved for further use.

Clean the monitor

Clean with a lint-free cloth dampened with warm water (max. 40°C/104°F) and soap, diluted nonabrasive cleaner, surfactant, ammonia, or

alcohol-based cleaner. Do not use strong solvents such as acetone or trichlorethylene. Be very careful when cleaning the screen, as it is more

sensitive to aggressive cleaning methods than the case. Do not allow liquids to enter the display case and avoid spilling liquids on the screen

during cleaning. Do not allow water or detergents to enter the measuring cap. Clean around the socket, not all over the socket.

CAUTION

To clean the touch-enabled display, disable the touch operation by switching off the monitor during the cleaning procedure, or by selecting and

holding the Main Screen key until the padlock symbol appears on it, indicating that touch operation is disabled. Select and hold again to re-enable

touch operation
