LNCS (Low Noise Wired Sensor) is available in different designs to meet the needs of different patient types. The LNCS sensor is for hospitals that prefer to minimize clinical user interface changes when upgrading their pulse oximeter to Masi-moSET® and do not expect to adopt Rainbow® technology. The LNCS sensor has a DB9 connector cable compatible with
the LNC patient cable and can be used with Masi-moSET® pulse oximeters and Nellcorrr sensor compatible devices without OxiMax®.
An additional patient cable can be used to connect the LNCS sensor to various pulse oximeters and multi-parameter monitors equipped with Masi-moSET®. Monitor adapter cables using existing Nellcorrr technology can also be used, allowing standardization of sensors throughout the facility with mixed pulse oximetry inventories.
The LNCS sensor provides excellent SpO2 performance while increasing patient comfort with a connector away from the sensor application area. For patients with limited or no access to numbers, or patients with extremely low perfusion, a special LNCS sensor with built-in intelligence can be used.
