Applications:

- Adult transthoracic cardiac examination: Used to assess cardiac structure, ventricular wall motion, valvular function, chamber size, and hemodynamics.

- Child and neonatal cardiac examination: Covers a higher frequency range, providing clear near-field images even for smaller children and newborns.

- Emergency and critical care cardiac assessment: Commonly used for rapid bedside assessment of pericardial effusion, cardiac function, and volume status.

- Supplemental application for superficial abdominal vessels: Sector scanning and small acoustic window design allow for examination of parts of the abdomen and brain (newborns).

- Wideband phased array design: Frequency range of approximately 1–5 MHz, balancing penetration and resolution, suitable for patients of different body types.

- Compact fan-shaped acoustic window: Small contact surface at the probe tip, easily obtaining standard cardiac views through intercostal spaces, resulting in less patient discomfort.
