► Daily Use 

The ESAOTE CA431 probe is a precision instrument. Please note the following points during daily use:

1. Handle with care: The probe contains a delicate piezoelectric crystal element, which is extremely fragile. Handle with care during handling, placement, and inspection. Do not strike, impact, or drop it to avoid damaging the internal crystal or breaking the acoustic lens.
2. Proper insertion and removal: Before connecting or disconnecting the probe, ensure the ultrasound unit is switched off or powered off. Never insert or remove the probe while it is powered on, as this could cause a sudden current surge that could burn out the internal wiring or chip. When inserting or removing the probe, hold the plug body and do not pull the cable directly.
3. During inspection breaks or periods when not scanning, make it a habit to press the "Freeze" button. This will stop the probe crystal from working, effectively extending the probe's lifespan and preventing the probe surface from overheating due to continuous ultrasonic wave emission.

• Handle the cable carefully: The probe contains a precision coaxial cable. Avoid knotting, excessive twisting, or forceful pulling during daily use. When storing, coil the cable naturally; otherwise, if the internal core wire breaks, severe interference fringes will appear in the image.
• Suitable storage environment: When not in use, store the probe properly, avoiding collisions with other hard objects. The storage environment should be maintained between 5℃ and 40℃, and the relative humidity between 30% and 70%. Keep away from strong magnetic fields and direct sunlight.
• Regular appearance and performance checks: Before each use, check the probe surface for cracks, bubbles, and cable damage. It is recommended to perform an image quality assessment of the probe monthly using a standard phantom.
• Promptly clean the coupling agent: After each inspection, immediately wipe the coupling agent off the probe surface with a soft paper towel or lint-free cloth. If the coupling agent dries out, apply a damp cloth to soften it before gently wiping it to prevent residue from corroding the acoustic lens or seeping into the interior.
