► Oximetry Setup & Calibration

• In Vitro Calibration

1. Connect the optical module to the color-coded 5vO2/ScvO2 connector on the front of the monitor. Connect the catheter to the optical module, ensuring the "top" is facing upwards. Allow the module to warm up for 20 minutes.

2. Use the navigation knob to select the SvO2/ScvO2 large parameter box. Press the knob to display the calibration menu. Select "In Vitro Calibration". Press the knob to select.

3. Select "Hemoglobin (HGB)". Press the knob to select. Rotate the knob to enter the hospital laboratory value. Press the knob to confirm the setting.

4. Rotate the knob to select "Calibrate". Press the knob to select. After successful calibration, insert the catheter into the patient.

5. Select "Start". Press the knob to select.

• In Vivo Calibration

1. Use the navigation knob to select the SvOz/5cvOz large parameter box. Press the knob to display the calibration menu.

2. Select "In Vivo Calibration". Press the knob to select.

3. After 25 seconds, the "Draw Blood" option will be selected. Press the knob before drawing waste and laboratory samples.

4. Use the knob to enter the blood oxygen saturation and hemoglobin (HGB) or hematocrit (Hct) values.

5. Select "Calibration". Press the knob to select.
