Overview

The Jincheng Medical J-B-2 is a radial artery compression tourniquet,a Class II medical device designed to stop bleeding after transradial procedures.

The device's structure is straightforward: a fixing plate, a fixing strap (version 2), an elastic body, a threaded rod, and a rotating head make up the J-B-2 assembly. The threaded rod and rotating head allow the user to increase or decrease pressure gradually a feature that sets this model apart from simpler, non-adjustable tourniquets

Functions

1. Stops bleeding after arterial procedures. Once the arterial sheath or needle is removed, the tourniquet is placed over the puncture site and secured around the wrist. The rotating head allows pressure to be applied gradually – enough to stop the bleeding without completely cutting off circulation to the hand.

2. Adjustable pressure through a threaded mechanism. The J-B-2 uses a threaded rod and rotating head to control compression.

3. The device's shape and strap placement follow the vascular anatomy of the forearm and wrist, making it easier to position correctly and keep in place.

4. Sterile and single‑use. The J-B-2 is supplied sterile and is intended for single‑patient use.

Application

• After the arterial sheath or needle has been removed (or partially withdrawn), identify the puncture site on the patient's wrist.
• Place the compression plate or pad of the tourniquet directly over the puncture site.
• Wrap the fixing strap around the patient's wrist and secure it in place.
• Turn the rotating head clockwise to gradually increase pressure.
• Continue turning until bleeding from the puncture site stops completely – but no further than necessary to avoid excessive compression
