The Inventus Power DRX-1 System3 is a rechargeable lithium‑ion battery designed specifically for the Carestream DRX‑1 flat‑panel digital X‑ray detector system. It’s the power source that enables wireless, cordless positioning of the detector in clinical settings – letting you roll the detector right to the patient’s bedside instead of moving the patient to the X‑ray room.

Battery Operation

•  Purpose: This battery is designed solely to power Carestream products.
• Cycle life: It can withstand at least 500 charge‑discharge cycles while retaining over 80% of its original capacity.
• Service life: Under normal use (one full charge per day), the battery is expected to last about 1.5 years.
• Initial charge: Batteries are shipped with less than 30% charge. Be sure to charge them fully before first use.
• Run time: A fully charged battery will provide enough power for many hours of continuous operation.

Insert the Battery

1. Locate the battery slot on the DRX‑1 detector.

2. Check the orientation – the battery is keyed and fits only one way.

3. Insert the back edge of the battery (where the contacts are located) first into the slot.

4. Gently slide the battery fully into the detector until it clicks into place.

5. Secure it with the latch mechanism

Safety Instructions

1. Charging: Only charge the battery using the CARESTREAM DRX‑1 Battery Charger, the DRX‑Revolution battery charger, or while the detector is tethered. Never use any other charger ,doing so may cause fire, explosion, or burns.

2. Compatibility: Do not use this battery to power any equipment other than Carestream‑manufactured or compatible devices.

3. No disassembly: Do not attempt to open, modify, or disassemble the battery.

4. Physical protection: Avoid dropping or subjecting the battery to strong impacts
