The Drager M23225 ventilteller is a ceramic valve suitable for inspiratory and expiratory (I/A) valves in Drager breathing circuit systems. It acts as a "precision switch" to control respiratory airflow, ensuring reliable and directional gas flow within the circuit.

Functions:

- Precise airflow control: Located within the inspiratory and expiratory valves, it acts like a one-way valve. It opens during inhalation to allow fresh air into the patient's lungs and closes during exhalation to prevent backflow of exhaled air.

- Ensure synchronized airway switching: Working in conjunction with the anesthesia machine's bellows and electronic control system, it achieves millisecond-level inspiratory-expiratory switching, crucial for maintaining stable ventilation for the patient.

- Double sealing to prevent leakage: It prevents fresh air from being wasted during exhalation and also prevents the patient's exhaled waste air from being re-inhaled during inhalation.

Maintenance Notice:

- Regularly check the diaphragm for damage or warping, and ensure the edges of the ceramic plate are intact.

- Gently wipe with anhydrous alcohol or mild soapy water using a cotton swab; do not scrape with hard objects.
