Contec C50 5L Portable Oxygen Concentrator Medical Grade Generator
Product Introduction
The CONTEC C50 is a 5 litre portable medical oxygen concentrator, designed to provide a reliable supply of supplemental oxygen for patients with respiratory needs. It’s intended for use in a range of settings from hospitals and clinics to home care.
Inside the unit, a compressor draws in ambient air and passes it through a molecular sieve bed that uses pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology to separate oxygen from nitrogen. The result is a steady stream of medical grade oxygen at concentrations of around 93%. The concentrator also includes a built in pulse oximeter that measures the patient’s SpO₂ and pulse rate in real time, allowing for continuous monitoring during therapy.

Advantages
1. Delivers therapeutic‑grade oxygen. The PSA system produces oxygen at a concentration of 93% ± 3%, which is well within the standard for medical‑grade oxygen therapy. The flow rate can be adjusted from 0.5 to 5 litres per minute, giving clinicians and patients the flexibility to match the prescribed dosage.
2. Monitors blood oxygen levels in real time. A built‑in pulse oximeter continuously measures SpO₂ and pulse rate. This means the patient’s oxygen saturation can be tracked throughout therapy without the need for a separate monitor.
3. Built for mobility and everyday use. The unit comes with castors (turning truckle) that make it easy to move from room to room. The compact footprint and manageable weight allow it to be positioned at the bedside or relocated as the patient’s needs change.
