Product Introduction

The iron frame assembly is the metal chassis that houses and secures the power supply unit inside the Mindray BeneView T8 patient monitor. It is the structural backbone that holds the power management system in place specifically, the charging and power management board, the voltage drop DC inverter, the voltage rise and drop DC inverter, and the voltage drop 5V CIS power board.

The power module itself is located at the back of the patient monitor, and the iron frame is what keeps everything securely in place.

Advantages

1. Provides structural support for the power supply. The iron frame holds the power supply boards securely in place inside the monitor chassis. Without this frame, the power boards would have no stable mounting point—they'd be loose inside the device, vulnerable to damage from vibration, shock, and the general wear and tear of daily clinical use.

2. Protects the power supply from physical damage. By housing the power boards within a rigid metal frame, the assembly shields them from impacts, drops, and the stresses of being moved around on carts between departments. It also helps prevent the boards from flexing or bending when cables are plugged and unplugged.

3. The metal frame acts as a heatsink, helping to dissipate heat generated by the power conversion circuitry. The power module converts AC input (100–240V) into multiple DC outputs, and all that conversion generates heat that needs somewhere to go

Removal procedure 

Remove the monitor's rear cover to access the internal components.

1. Locate the power module assembly at the back of the monitor.

2. Disconnect all cables connected to the power supply. For some cables, you have to release the clips on them before disconnecting.

3. Remove the mounting screws securing the power module assembly to the monitor chassis.

4. Gently slide the power module assembly out of the monitor.
