Product Introduction

The PSU-0061-02A is the main power board for the newer version of the Mindray BeneView T8 patient monitor. It sits inside the monitor's chassis, taking the incoming AC mains or battery power and converting it into the stable DC voltages that every other part of the monitor needs to function.

The power board is the main component within the monitor's power module, which is located at the back of the patient monitor

Power Board

There are two kinds of module power board:

1. Isolated power board: converts the 12 V DC into a 12 V isolated DC and a 5 V isolated

2. Non-isolated power board: converts the 12 V DC into a 5 V DC.

Functions

1. Manages power from both AC and battery sources. The monitor runs from the AC source whenever one is available. If the AC source fails, the monitor automatically switches to battery power without affecting its operating status. The board handles the charging and discharging of the two lithium-ion batteries via the battery interface board.

2. Protects the monitor from electrical faults. The power board has multiple built-in protection mechanisms – overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protection.

3. If any of these conditions occur, the module switches off the AC input or DC output to prevent damage to the device.Keeps the monitor running reliably.
