1. Load-bearing Frame

The frame serves as the sole mounting base for all circuit boards and covers of the parameter module. All components are uniformly confined within the frame, preventing internal parts from disassembling or shifting when plugging and unplugging modules, reducing disassembly and installation steps during maintenance.

2. Insulation Protection

Fully transparent insulating plastic isolates the internal high-voltage acquisition circuit from the metal body, preventing short circuits during defibrillation and eliminating the risk of equipment burnout or leakage.

3. Stable Signal Transmission

The original FPC cable ensures stable signal transmission. Even under electromagnetic interference from operating room electrosurgical units and monitors, the transmitted ECG waveform remains free of noise, ensuring accurate AED heart rhythm recognition.

4. Extend Cable Lifespan

The frame's retaining grooves limit the bending angle of the ribbon cable, preventing breakage at the cable base due to frequent disassembly and assembly, and bumpy transport, thus reducing the likelihood of cable transmission failure.

Q1: The cable included with the outer frame has minor creases, and the ECG waveform is occasionally lost after installation. What is the underlying cause?

A1: Creases can damage the internal circuitry of the ribbon cable, causing intermittent continuity during vibration, resulting in signal interruption. Even if there is no visible breakage, it is recommended to replace the entire ribbon cable to prevent signal failure during emergency situations.

Q2: When disassembling the parameter module, the cable tied to the outer frame broke. Can the ribbon cable board be replaced separately?

A2: The ribbon cable and the small boards at both ends are thermoformed as a single piece and cannot be disassembled for repair. The entire outer frame assembly must be replaced.

Q3: The outer frame clips are worn, and the transparent cover is loose. Is it feasible to replace only the cover without replacing the outer frame?

A3: Minor wear can be addressed by replacing the cover plate separately; however, if the outer frame buckle base is deformed or missing, the cover plate will not be able to hold properly, and the internal circuit board will shake under vibration, requiring the outer frame to be replaced simultaneously.
