Product Introduction

The handle tray officially part number 043-000990-00 is a structural component that mounts to the back of the Mindray BeneHeart D3 defibrillator

Made from high‑strength engineering plastic and formed as a single integrated piece, the tray is shaped to match the exact contours of the sternum and apex paddles. It holds them securely in place, keeps the cable neatly routed, and makes sure the paddles are always ready to grab when a manual defib is needed.

Prepare the patient and apply the electrode pads/external paddles

Get the patient ready first before attaching electrode pads or external paddles.

Should you opt for electrode pads, place them on the patient following the guidelines outlined in section ECG Monitoring Measurement with Paddles/Electrode Pads.

If external paddles are required instead, take hold of their handles and pull vertically upward to lift the paddle assembly out of its storage tray, then spread conductive gel evenly over the electrode side of both paddles.

NOTE

• Clean the paddle tray using a soft, clean cloth dampened with a glass cleaner.

• Thoroughly clean the external paddles and properly place them in the paddle tray after each use. The auto test passes only when external paddles properly contact the metal parts of the paddle tray

• Install at least one battery and properly place the external paddles in the paddle tray or connect the pads cable and 50 Ω test load. Otherwise the auto test will fail.

User Test

1. Before the user test or after each use, thoroughly clean the external paddles and properly place them in the paddle tray. The user test passes only when external paddles properly contact the metal parts of the paddle tray.

2. If the impedance value indicated by impedance indicator changes greatly, check that external paddles and metal parts of the paddle tray are clean.

3. Install at least one battery and properly place the external paddles in the paddle tray or connect the pads cable and 50 Ω test load. Otherwise the user test will fail.
