Q1: Pressing the MARK button has no effect, and no markers are displayed on the curve. Is the board faulty?

A1: First, check if the plug is loose, then check if the button is stuck. If the button and connection are normal, the signal processing circuit on the interface board is most likely faulty and needs replacement.

Q2: When monitoring patients, random markers automatically appear on the curve even without pressing the MARK button. What could be the reason?

A2: This is mostly due to interference on the interface board causing false triggering. It could be caused by a damaged shielded cable or aging components on the board. Replacing the interface board will solve the problem.

Q3: The EXT.1 interface cannot recognize external devices. Is the interface board faulty?

A3: First, check if the external devices and cables are working properly, then confirm if the interface definitions match. If the external devices are fine, the problem lies with the expansion circuitry of the interface board, which needs to be replaced.

Q4: The ferrite core on the interface board has fallen off. Can it still be used?

A4: It's not recommended. The ferrite core is used to filter interference. If it falls off, it can easily cause false triggering or unstable signals, affecting the accuracy of clinical data. It is recommended to replace the entire interface board assembly.
