PHiliph MX40 Touch Screen Front Pannel With Board without Speaker Models 2012 or Later

Product Introduction

MX40 Touch Screen with Front Panel is the front-facing user interface assembly of the MX40 wearable patient monitor. This component integrates the 2.8‑inch QVGA color touch‑sensitive LCD display, the protective front housing, and the internal printed circuit board into a single replaceable assembly. The front panel features three basic function buttons located on the left side, from left to right: the Silence Alarm Button (initiates local silencing or global muting of all active alarms), the SmartKeys Button (displays the SmartKeys menu on the touchscreen), and the Main Screen Button (touch for two seconds to activate the screen, cycles through screens when pressed repeatedly, and returns the display to the main screen from any submenu).

Main Functions

1. All device function settings, parameter adjustments, page switching, alarm muting, and data viewing are completed through this touchscreen, allowing medical staff to perform monitoring operations intuitively and quickly.

2. It can clearly display all monitoring data such as ECG waveforms, blood oxygen, heart rate, and respiration, and simultaneously provide feedback on device operating status and abnormal alarm prompts, providing intuitive visual reference for clinical monitoring.

3. The integrated front panel structure effectively seals the front of the device, preventing dust, moisture, and disinfectant from seeping into the internal structure, protecting the motherboard and precision circuits from external environmental corrosion.

4. Device appearance and structural fixation: The front panel serves both as an aesthetic decoration and a fixation of the internal structure, securing the screen component position.

Precautions

1. All disassembly and assembly work must be completed in a completely power-off and anti-static environment. Operating while the power is on can easily burn out ribbon cables and damage the motherboard interfaces.

2. Never use sharp tools to directly touch the screen surface. Avoid scratching the touch layer and display lens, which can cause permanent display defects and touch malfunction.

3. When cleaning the device, only use a soft, lint-free cloth with medical alcohol to gently wipe the surface. Do not spray liquids directly onto the screen to prevent liquid from seeping into the internal components and causing a short circuit.

4. If any abnormalities such as unresponsive touch, screen flickering, or partial blackout occur, stop the device immediately for inspection. Do not continue to use the device with the faulty component to avoid expanding the scope of the problem.
