GE L6-12-RS Ultrasonic Probe Transducer 4.0-13.0 MHz For Logiq Vivid
Product Overview
The PVM-375AT is a multi-frequency convex array ultrasound probe, compatible with the standard CV1-8AD connector, primarily designed for routine abdominal and obstetric/gynecological ultrasound examinations. Visually, the probe features a gray plastic housing with a ergonomic design that conforms to the contours of the hand, providing a natural grip and reducing fatigue during extended use. The probe's tip features an arc-shaped crystal array, utilizing a curved transducer design to achieve a wider scanning field of view.

Function
1. Multi-frequency scanning, accommodating both superficial and deep areas. By switching the operating frequency between 3.0 and 6.0 MHz, the operator can adjust the probe depth and resolution according to the target being examined. For example, a relatively lower frequency is used to ensure penetration when examining deeper abdominal organs, while a higher frequency can be switched to obtain clearer details for shallower obstetric or gynecological structures.
2. Good host compatibility and high equipment utilization. Thanks to its compatibility with various host systems such as the Nemio series and PV6000, this probe can be flexibly used across different main control systems with minimal changes to underlying settings, reducing adjustment costs caused by equipment incompatibility.
3. Easy operation and maintenance. The probe housing features a rounded design, coupled with lightweight cables, minimizing hand strain even when scanning multiple patients consecutively. Furthermore, thanks to the relatively mature chip cutting and packaging technology, daily cleaning and maintenance procedures are simple; following the equipment instructions for cleaning and disinfection will keep the probe in good working order.

Precautions for Use
1. Do not drop or impact. The ultrasonic probe contains a delicate piezoelectric chip. Significant mechanical impact may cause the chip to break or signal attenuation, directly resulting in cluttered shadows or large anechoic areas in the image.
2. The acoustic lens requires careful handling. The probe's acoustic lens is made of soft material. Do not puncture or scratch its surface with sharp objects. If the lens breaks, the coupling adhesive can easily seep into the probe, corroding the chip and circuitry.
3. Pay attention to temperature and humidity. Avoid prolonged exposure of the probe to direct sunlight or strong ultraviolet light sources, and also avoid environments with large temperature fluctuations. Extreme temperatures or prolonged high temperatures will accelerate the aging of the housing materials and cables.
4. The probe cable should not be subjected to excessive bending, tangling, or stepping. When not in use for a long period of time, it should be coiled up with its natural curvature and laid flat in a dedicated protective box or fixed storage location to avoid internal wire breakage at the base of the cable due to repeated bending.
