► Brief Description
The NIBP Measure Board is the core circuit board in the BSM-4113K monitor responsible for processing blood pressure measurements. It uses an oscillometric method to acquire the patient's systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial pressure by controlling the gas pump, solenoid valve, and pressure sensor. Its specific functions are as follows:
► NIBP Measure Board & NIBP Safety Board
The NIBP Measure Board 6190-020212C UR-3564 incorporates a pressure sensor to detect cuff pressure and convert it into an electrical signal for non-invasive blood pressure measurement.
The NIBP Safety Board includes a microcontroller for safety control, a pressure sensor, a solenoid valve, a pump, and power-off circuitry for the valves and pump. This board monitors cuff pressure independently of the non-invasive blood pressure measurement board. If the non-invasive blood pressure measurement board malfunctions, such as cuff overinflation, the safety board activates multiple safety functions to protect the patient from the effects of misoperation.
When the microcontroller activates the safety functions, the drive voltage to the pump and valves is cut off for 30 seconds. This prevents the cuff from inflating during this period.
Because the measurement data from the non-invasive blood pressure measurement board and the safety board are compared, and the operation of the safety circuitry is continuously monitored, a "Safety Circuit Error" status message will immediately appear on the screen if an abnormality occurs in the non-invasive blood pressure measurement.
► Removing the NIBP Measure Board
After completing the "Remove NIBP Security Board" step, please perform the following steps:
1. Remove the two screws and two washer bolts from the motherboard bracket, as shown in the image below. Slightly tilt the upper part of the motherboard bracket (indicated by the thick arrow in the image), and then slowly remove it and its insulating sheet to expose the motherboard.

2. Tilt the top of the motherboard slightly and disconnect the cable connecting the DPU board to the CNJ701 slot on the motherboard. Slowly remove the motherboard to expose the analog circuit board and the non-invasive blood pressure measurement board.

3. Disconnect the NIBP measurement board from the tubing and remove the screws securing the NIBP measurement board to the DPU board. Remove the NIBP measurement board from the DPU board.
Assembly Precautions:
When assembling the motherboard and all circuit boards, align the protruding bottom edge of each analog board with the bottom edge of the inverted T-shaped hole on the motherboard (as shown in the figure below) to ensure proper engagement of the connectors on both sides of each analog board and the motherboard. Then, press down on the connector areas, namely CNJ601, CNJ602, CNJ401, CNJ301 to 305.
