Description

In the Nihon Kohden BSM-4113K patient monitor, the connection cable between the parameter module and the parameter board is mainly used for the digital transmission and power supply of physical signals. - Power Supply: The connection cable supplies power from the motherboard to each expansion module.

- Control Command Issuance: When you press the buttons on the screen, the motherboard sends commands to the modules via this cable, instructing them when to start working, stop, or reset.

- Identification: The connection cable typically includes data pins used by the motherboard to identify the model of the currently inserted module, thereby loading the corresponding driver.

Connection cable failure:

- Module not connected or service request error: The motherboard cannot detect the module's presence.

- High waveform interference: Poor contact leads to unstable grounding, which may cause severe power frequency interference or baseline drift on the screen.

- Intermittent parameters: Loose ribbon cable causes data transmission interruption.
