Description

The parameter board of the Nihon Kohden BSM-4113K monitor is the core hardware module responsible for acquiring and processing all physiological signals. It is a core signal processing unit that integrates multi-parameter acquisition and pre-amplification functions. Multiple parameter acquisition circuits, including ECG, respiration, blood oxygen, non-invasive blood pressure, body temperature, and invasive blood pressure, are integrated on a single circuit board, reducing internal wiring, lowering the failure rate, and allowing for direct replacement during maintenance.

Functions:

- Receive weak analog signals from the leads and pulse oximeter probe, perform opto-isolation to ensure electrical isolation between the patient and the device power supply, preventing leakage.

- Package the acquired and processed digital waveforms and send them to the motherboard CPU via the internal SPI bus or parallel bus.

- Power the pulse oximeter probe LED driver and the non-invasive blood pressure pump motor, and monitor the voltage of each power supply.

Parameter board malfunction symptoms:

- The screen displays a straight line (zero line) for ECG, but cannot recognize the heart rate; the buttons respond.

- Blood pressure inflation is normal, but deflation is extremely slow or the value is significantly high.

- Blood oxygen waveform has large noise, but the probe works normally on another host.
