Installing and Removing the Battery Pack
1.Battery Installation Steps: When installing, orient the battery pack with the label facing up. First, ensure the battery compartment is clean and free of foreign objects, then slide the battery pack firmly into the compartment until a click is heard (indicating the latch is locked). If the pack cannot be fully inserted, it is most likely upside down. Once fully inserted, the surface of the battery pack should be flush with the side of the AED.
2.Battery Removal Steps: To remove the battery pack, press the battery eject button on the side of the AED. After the battery pack is partially ejected, pull it out gently by hand without the need for tools.
