Comen C60 Patient Monitor USB Network Interface Board C68_USB NET_C
Board Introduction
This is a USB and Network Interface Board Assembly (Model: C68_USB_NET_C) designed specifically for the C60 series of patient monitors. This compact, multi-functional PCB serves as the primary connectivity hub for external peripherals and network communications. Featuring a modular, space-saving design, the board measures approximately 80mm × 60mm; it fits precisely into a dedicated mounting slot within the monitor chassis, ensuring seamless integration with the device's main body. The board features two onboard standard USB Type-A ports, enabling the simultaneous connection of multiple external devices without mutual interference. These USB ports support the USB 2.0 High-Speed protocol, offering data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbps. Additionally, an onboard network interface controller provides a standard RJ45 Ethernet port for wired network connectivity. The interface housing is constructed from heat-resistant ABS engineering plastic and features non-slip edges to facilitate convenient plug-and-play operation.

Functions
1. Network Communication: Connects to the hospital's LAN via an RJ45 port to enable real-time uploading of monitoring data, remote viewing, and data sharing, thereby meeting clinical information management requirements.
2. Data Expansion: Leverages USB ports to support external USB drives for storing monitoring data and printing reports, or for connecting a USB keyboard and mouse to facilitate device configuration and menu navigation, thereby extending the device's practical functionality.
3. Signal Conversion: Routes communication signals from the mainboard through an adapter board to ensure compatibility with external interface standards, thereby guaranteeing the stability and accuracy of data transmission.
Usage Precautions
1. All disassembly and assembly procedures must be performed with the power completely disconnected. Do not insert or remove ribbon cables, nor touch any components on the board, while the device is powered on; this prevents electrostatic discharge from damaging the interface circuitry or the mainboard.
2. When inserting or removing network cables and USB drives, proceed smoothly and align with the orientation of the port. Do not apply excessive force by twisting or pulling the connector, as this may deform the network/USB port or cause the pins to break.
3. During routine maintenance, periodically inspect the connections of the ribbon cables. If issues arise such as network disconnections or unresponsive USB ports first verify the contact between the ribbon cables and their respective ports; replace the board only after confirming that the fault lies with the board itself.
