Description

The Radical-7 SpO2 board is based on Masimo's Rainbow technology, which uses seven or more wavelengths of light and incorporates SET® to accurately measure and extract signals even in challenging conditions such as patient movement and low perfusion (weak blood flow).

The SpO2 board is responsible for receiving weak analog signals (i.e., light signals after passing through human tissue) from the probe sensor, converting them into digital signals, amplifying and filtering them, calculating blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), pulse rate (PR), and perfusion index (PI) through a complex mathematical model, transmitting the calculated values ​​to the main control board, displaying the waveforms and numbers on the screen in real time, and triggering sound and visual alarms according to the set thresholds.

Multiple Parameter Monitoring:

- PI: Quantifies peripheral blood perfusion intensity, helping to quickly assess circulatory status.

- SpHb: Non-invasive, continuous monitoring of hemoglobin concentration.

- SpCO: Non-invasive monitoring of carbon monoxide levels in the blood.

- SpMet: Non-invasive monitoring of methemoglobin levels.

- PVI: Changes in the perfusion index during the respiratory cycle.

- SpOC: Calculates the total oxygen content in arterial blood.

- ORI: Provides trends in changes within the intermediate to high oxygen partial pressure range.
