1. Chemical Corrosion Resistance: Hospital environments frequently use alcohol and chlorine-based disinfectants for wiping and disinfection. High-quality housing materials must withstand long-term exposure to these chemicals without yellowing, cracking, or becoming brittle.
2. Flame Retardant Rating: Compliant with safety standards for medical electrical equipment, the housing material typically meets V-0 flame retardant standards, ensuring it will not become a source of ignition in the event of extreme electrical faults.
