Brief introduction

This product is a print roller assembly specifically designed for the built-in thermal recorder of the Edan F300 series fetal monitors. The print roller features a precision-ground metal shaft coated with high-friction rubber to ensure stable paper sliding. The rubber formula is specially designed for durable elasticity and abrasion resistance, withstanding the wear and tear of the thermal paper. Precision bearings at both ends ensure smooth, frictionless rotation of the print roller, maintaining a constant paper feed speed when recording critical information such as fetal heart rate patterns and uterine contraction waveforms. The print roller surface is precision-machined to ensure uniform contact of the thermal paper across its entire width, preventing paper slippage or jamming. This assembly works in conjunction with the printer's drive motor and gear assembly to smoothly pass the thermal paper through the printing mechanism, ensuring that every fetal heartbeat and uterine contraction is accurately recorded on the printed waveform.

Print Control

1. Press the PRINT button to start printing. Check if the recorder has started printing.
2. Enable the Print Self-Test function in the recorder's configuration. Restart the monitor and
     verify if the recorder prints a baseline.
3. Enter DEMO mode and print some tracks and check if all tracks are clear on the paper.
4. If any errors are detected, see section 8.5 Recorder Errors for details.

NOTE:
Please ensure that the paper loading and settings are correct before starting to print.

Main Functions

1. Precision dimensions and anti-slip texture design ensure a firm grip on paper and expel air, effectively preventing paper jams, skewing, ghosting, or waveform misalignment.

2. Made of disinfection-resistant and anti-aging silicone material, it can withstand routine disinfection with alcohol, iodine, etc. It does not yellow, stick to paper, or harden with long-term use, making it suitable for high-frequency use in hospitals.

3. Precisely matched with the printhead spacing and speed, ensuring complete synchronization between paper feed speed and printing rhythm, and accurate timeline and waveform data, meeting the requirements of clinical diagnosis and medical record archiving.

4. Modular snap-fit ​​structure requires no special tools or calibration; quick disassembly and assembly are achieved by opening the paper tray, significantly reducing equipment maintenance time and improving departmental work efficiency.

Installation and Removal Instructions:

First, turn off the fetal monitor power and open the paper tray cover on the top of the device.

Remove the remaining recording paper from the paper tray to expose the internal printing roller assembly.

Removal: Gently press the spring clips on both sides of the printing roller to lift the roller shaft upwards smoothly for removal.

Installation: Align the geared end of the new printing roller with the drive position, and insert the other end into the bracket slot. Gently press down until the clips on both sides automatically engage, ensuring the roller shaft rotates smoothly.

Reload the thermal paper, close the paper tray cover, and turn on the device for normal use.
