Replacing the Gear Assembly

 

To remove the gear assembly,


1) Separate the upper assembly and lower assembly.
2) Disconnect the wire connector from the print control board.
3) Remove the three screws securing the gear assembly.

 

To replace the gear assembly,


Replace the gear assembly in reverse order. Make sure the wire connector is properly connected
to the print control board.

 

Operation Note:

 

1. Avoid interference: after installation, check whether there is paper scrap or foreign material in the passageway, ensure that the gear rotates freely, and avoid carding.


2. Specification of paper run debugging: After replacement, test the printing function, confirm the paper run smoothly, the character is clear, if there is a card paper offset, and the gap between the paper installation and the gear set can be adjusted in time.


3. Regular cleaning and maintenance: Every 3-6 months, clean the gear set and the waste paper of the printing paper channel together with the dust, to avoid the accumulation of dust causing the transmission efficiency to decrease or the noise to increase.
