The Biocare iM12 Patient Monitor comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, but up to two can be installed to ensure continued operation during power outages. The battery can be charged when connected to AC power, regardless of whether the monitor is powered on. The battery can also be charged internally within the monitor. In the event of a sudden power outage, the system will automatically activate the battery to power the iM12 monitor, ensuring uninterrupted operation. ► Battery Installation
1. Turn off the monitor and unplug the AC power cord.
2. Following the arrow direction, press the button on the left side of the battery compartment cover to open it.
3. Move the retaining clip in the center of the battery compartment to one side and remove the battery to be replaced.
4. With the new battery facing up, electrode connectors facing inward, and the groove facing the upper left, insert the battery into the groove. Ensure good contact.
5. If necessary, repeat the above steps to replace another battery (a maximum of two batteries can be installed in one device).
6. Return the retaining clip to the center position and close the battery compartment.
