Overall Introduction

This parameter panel assembly is a rounded rectangle made of light gray medical-grade plastic with a matte finish, capable of withstanding frequent cleaning and minor bumps in a clinical environment. The top of the panel has two circular recesses with orange outlines for accommodating extended function modules of the device. The main area features a partitioned layout: on the left, from top to bottom, are a blue SpO₂ oxygen port and two yellow T1/T2 dual temperature ports; on the right are a green ECG port and a silver NIBP non-invasive blood pressure port. Each port has clear function labels and color codes, along with different pin and snap-fit designs to prevent incorrect insertion during clinical operation. The panel edges also feature snap-fit and screw holes for a perfect fit with the Biocare IM12 monitor.

Disassembly steps

1. Remove the four M3*8 screws from the back cover by unscrewing them completely.

2. Separate the front and back covers, then disconnect the connecting cables for the screen and button board.

3. Disassembling the Masimo/Nellcor SpO2 module: Refer to the figures below. First, unscrew the relevant screws, then disconnect the cable, and finally remove the Masimo or Nellcor SpO2 module.

4. Disassembling the sensor cable: As shown in the figure below, unscrew the two M2.5*6 screws—this will allow you to remove the SpO2 sensor cable.

Precautions

Power Off First: Before disassembling or replacing the panel, the monitor's power must be turned off and the power cord disconnected. Do not plug or unplug interfaces while they are powered on to prevent static electricity or short circuits from damaging the internal circuitry.

Proper Plug-in/Unplugging Procedure: When connecting the leads, align them with the interface pins, gently insert, and secure the clips. When unplugging, hold the plug body; do not pull the wires directly to avoid deforming the interface pins or breaking the wires.
