Product Introduction:

This is a component of the Biocare ECG-1210 electrocardiograph, including an LCD display panel and a complete light gray medical-grade engineering plastic housing. The housing consists of two parts, front and back, with a rounded rectangular design and a smooth, scratch-resistant surface. The front housing has an embedded display window with pre-drilled buttons and interface openings along the edges. It includes the front panel button area, side interface protective covers, and the durable engineering plastic housing. The rear housing has mounting screw holes and clip positions for securing the internal structure of the device. This is a directly replaceable housing component.

The Casing Function

• Internal Component Protection, the enclosed outer casing effectively blocks dust, liquid splashes, and minor impacts in the clinical environment, protecting internal circuit boards, cables, and other delicate components from damage.

Removing the Casing

1. Unscrew the screws securing the bottom/side of the device. Gently pry along the seams of the outer casing with a plastic pry bar to release the clips and separate the front and rear casings.

2. Disconnect the display cable. Locate the cable connecting the display to the motherboard and gently pull it out by pinching the connector end.

3. Remove the old components. Unscrew 2-3 screws securing the display and carefully remove it by holding the edge; simultaneously remove the old outer casing.

Installation Steps

1. Align the new rear casing with the device body, fasten the clips, and initially tighten the screws.

2. Secure the new display. Insert the display into the front casing window and tighten the screws; align the connector, insert the cable, and fasten the clips.

3. Close the outer casing. Align and tighten the front and rear casings, and tighten all the screws to ensure there are no loose parts or gaps.

Usage Precautions

• Power Off First: Before disassembly and assembly, the ECG machine power must be turned off and the power cord disconnected. Do not operate while the power is on to prevent electric shock or damage to the display panel and internal circuitry.

• Display Protection: During disassembly and assembly, avoid touching the display panel surface directly with your hands. Cover it with a lint-free soft cloth to prevent scratching or damaging the LCD module. If the panel becomes stained, only gently wipe it with a dry, soft cloth.

• Casing Cleaning Procedure: When cleaning the outer casing, wipe it with a lint-free cloth dampened with 70% medical alcohol. 

• Installation Alignment Check: When reassembling the outer casing, ensure that the clips are fully tightened and the screw torque is appropriate to prevent the casing from becoming loose or deformed. Also check the fit between the display panel and the outer casing to prevent gaps that could allow dust to enter.

• Storage environment requirements: Spare components should be placed in a dry, ventilated environment away from direct sunlight, avoiding high temperature (>40℃), high humidity (>80% RH) or heavy objects, and preventing plastic deformation and display screen moisture.
