It is secured to the module's base cover via snaps and screws, forming a complete enclosed structure.

It is part of the "Dual Link Bar" mechanism, used to mount the M3015A to the rear support of monitors such as the MP20/MP30.

• Installation and Replacement Steps

Replacing the M3015A Fixed Frame requires removing the entire module housing.

Please follow these steps in order:

•  

• 1. Preparation:

  Power Off:

• Ensure the patient monitor is unplugged from the power outlet and the batteries are removed to prevent short circuits.

•  

•  

  Tools:

• You will need a Phillips screwdriver and a plastic pry bar for prying open the clips (or a flathead screwdriver wrapped with tape to prevent scratching the plastic).

   

   

  2. Removing the Old Frame:

• Remove Back Cover Screws:

• Flip the M3015A module over and remove all external screws on the back.

•  

   

  Separate the Housing:

• Turn the module face up. Using a thick-bladed screwdriver, insert it into the gap between the top and bottom covers.

•  

   

  Key Point:

• Do not force the "Dual Link Bar" linkages on both sides. Start from the middle or the interface and gently pry to release the internal clips.

•  

   

  Separate the Frame:

• Once the clips are released, gently separate the Fixed Frame from the Base Cover.

•  

   

  Transferring Components:

• If your old frame has gas ports or labels, carefully transfer them to the new frame.

•  

  3. Installing the New Frame:

  Alignment:

• Align the new Fixed Frame with the Base Cover.

•  

  Ensure that the internal circuit boards and gas lines are not squeezed or stuck between the two halves of the

• housing. Pay special attention to the alignment of the gas sampling port.

   

• Clamping the Housing:

• Starting from one end, gently press to ensure all clips engage correctly. You should hear a slight "click".

   

• Reinstalling Screws:

• Retighten the previously removed screws, but do not overtighten to avoid stripping them.
