This DATASCOPE 0014-00-0250_A PWB-3138-002N power module is the original core power component for the Mindray Datascope Passport2 patient monitor.

It features a robust, heat-dissipating aluminum alloy casing; the front panel integrates an IEC C14 AC power input interface and a grounding terminal; the rear panel has a multi-pin connector (for precise mating with the monitor's main unit); the internal circuit board (PWB-3138-002N) incorporates high-reliability transformers, electrolytic capacitors, inductors, and other power components, achieving high-efficiency conversion through switching power supply technology.

Functions:

Converts 100-240V AC mains power into multiple DC power sources required by the monitor, including +5.5V DC (unregulated) and -11V DC. It also supports intelligent charging management for sealed lead-acid (SLA)/lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries, ensuring stable operation of the monitor in both mains and battery-powered modes.

• Disassembly Instructions

1. Preparation:

• Turn off the monitor power and unplug the power cord.
• Remove all cable assemblies (including the battery) from the left, right, and rear sides of the monitor.
• Place the device on an anti-static workbench.

2. Remove the Plastic Cover:

• Using a flathead screwdriver or similar tool, insert it into the four clips around the power module housing.
• Gently press and release the four tabs, then remove the plastic cover.
• Caution: Handle with care to avoid damaging the tabs.

3. Remove the Metal Housing Screws:

• After removing the plastic cover, you will see the internal metal shielding housing.
• Remove the four screws at the four corners of the metal housing.

4. Disconnect the Control Cable (Lithium Battery Model Only):

• Important: If the device is equipped with a Li-ion battery, one control cable must be disconnected before completely removing the power.
• Gently slide the power module outwards from the rear until the internal control cable connector is exposed.
• Disconnect the control cable connector.

5. Complete Removal:

• Slide the power module completely out of the monitor's rear housing and remove it.

• Assembly Instructions

1. Connect the control cable:

• If using a lithium battery configuration, ensure the control cable is correctly connected before installation.

2. Secure the metal casing:

• Place the power module into the rear casing and reinstall the four corner screws on the metal casing.

3. Install the plastic cover:

• Align the cover and press the four corners until the clips are secure.

4. Functional test:

• Reinstall the front and rear casings.
• Connect the power cable and power on to test.
• Check if the monitor screen displays "AC Power" or "Battery Charging" to confirm the power module is working properly.

• Warning

1. Electric Shock Risk:

High-voltage capacitors may exist inside after disassembling the casing, and residual voltage may remain even after power is disconnected. Please ensure power is off for at least 5 minutes before proceeding.

2. Electrostatic Discharge Protection:

Repair personnel must wear anti-static wrist straps to prevent electrostatic discharge from damaging circuit board components.

3. Tool Requirements:

Use a suitable screwdriver and avoid slipping or damaging the screw heads.
