The three-prong power supply , consisting of three three-core wires of different colors.The three-core power and grounding assembly consists of three three-core wires of different colors. Different colored wires are inserted into different connectors.This power supply is made of metal and is silver in color. It has screw holes for fixing it to the device to prevent it from becoming loose or making poor contact.

The three-prong Power Supply is a standard three-prong plug (live wire L, neutral wire N, ground wire E), and the other end is usually three independent wires with terminals (brown/red - L, blue/black - N, yellow-green - E).

 
The main functions of a three-prong power supply:
Live Wire: Conducts current to the equipment.
Neutral Wire: Forms a current loop.

►Three-prong Power Supply  Assembly Installation Steps

1. Disconnect all power. Prepare a suitable screwdriver and locate the power module area on the back of the Q5 monitor.

2. Open the Q5 Monitor Housing

Using the appropriate screwdriver, remove all screws securing the back cover and carefully remove the back cover to expose the internal structure.

3. Locate the Power Connection Points

Locate the power module inside the device. It is usually a separate metal box or circuit board with clear markings.

L or LINE: Live wire terminal

N or NEUTRAL: Neutral wire terminal

PE or ⏚ or GND: Protective grounding terminal

4. Connect the Power Wire and Grounding Wire

Connect the yellow-green wire in the power wire assembly to the terminal marked with the PE or grounding symbol.

Ensure the connection is very secure. This is the most important safety step.

Connecting the Live and Neutral Wires:

Connect the brown (or red) wire to the L terminal.

Connect the blue (or black) wire to the N terminal. Tightening and Inspection:

Use appropriate tools to tighten the wire clamps on each terminal, ensuring the wires are secure.

Gently pull on each wire to check for a firm hold.

5. Reinstall the casing and perform a final inspection:

Carefully inspect the interior for any remaining tools or screws.

Reinstall the back cover and tighten all screws.

6. Power-on Test and Verification:

Plug the three-pin power connector into a properly grounded wall outlet.

Turn on the monitor's main power switch.

Observe whether the device starts normally, whether the screen display is normal, and whether there are any abnormal sounds or smells.
