Description

Mindray's AG module is primarily used to measure the composition and concentration of anesthetic gases in a patient's breath. It is an essential component of monitors used in anesthesiology departments and operating rooms. It can measure various anesthetic and auxiliary gases, such as oxygen and carbon dioxide, and simultaneously monitor parameters and perform data calculations to precisely adjust the dosage of anesthetic drugs, ensuring patient safety.

AG modules typically employ infrared spectroscopy absorption for gas analysis. Infrared light sources generate significant heat during operation. Accumulated heat can cause wavelength drift or decreased detector sensitivity, severely impacting the accuracy of monitoring data. Cooling fans are crucial for removing this heat and maintaining a constant temperature for the optical system. Furthermore, the module's internal circuit boards, sensors, and processors are highly sensitive to ambient temperatures. Continuous heat dissipation prevents overheating, aging, or damage to electronic components, extending the equipment's lifespan.

How to install?

- Use a dedicated screwdriver to carefully remove the screws securing the module housing and open it.

- The cooling fan is usually installed near the circuit board or in the airflow cooling channel. Locate the fan, remove the screws securing it, and gently disconnect the fan's power cable.

- Place the new cooling fan in its original position. Note the fan's airflow direction, tighten the screws, reconnect the fan's cable, reinstall the module housing, and tighten the screws.

- Enter engineer mode or the service menu to check if the fan speed is within the normal range, or feel for airflow from the vents.

- Installation complete.
