Description

The entropy module is designed to provide information on the central nervous system status during general anesthesia and can be used to adjust the anesthesia plan according to individual needs. E-ENTROPY can be used with anesthesia monitors and compact anesthesia monitors and requires L-ANE03(A) or higher software.

The Entropy interface board is a measurement interface that connects the human body to the monitor using sensors, facilitating data measurement and transmission. The data is then displayed on the monitor's screen, allowing doctors to assess the patient's condition and adjust the dosage and treatment plan accordingly.

In adult patients, response entropy (RE) and state entropy (SE) can be used to aid in monitoring the effects of certain anesthetics, thereby helping users adjust the dosage of anesthetic drugs according to the individual needs of adult patients. Furthermore, in adult patients, using entropy parameters may help reduce the use of anesthetic drugs and accelerate anesthesia recovery.

How to determine if the interface board needs to be replaced?

- If the monitor displays no measurement parameters after you connect the sensor, try replacing the sensor and measuring again. If the parameters still cannot be measured, have an engineer open the module and use a multimeter to measure the connection board to confirm that the connection port is damaged and needs to be replaced.
