Description

The GE E-Entropy module is designed to provide information on the central nervous system status during general anesthesia. It uses Datex-Ohmeda’s innovative and published entropy algorithm, based on the acquisition and processing of electroencephalogram (EEG) and facial electromyography (FEMG) signals, to adjust the anesthesia plan according to the individual needs of adult patients and children aged 2 years and older.

The front chassis kit is made of high-quality plastic, it features an Entropy interface hole and a keypad, making it perfectly compatible with GE E-Entropy modules, this module have two entropy parameters:

- Response Entropy (RE): A rapid response parameter used to detect facial muscle activation.

- State Entropy (SE): A stable and reliable parameter used to assess the hypnotic effects of anesthetic drugs in the brain.

The front cover features a snap-on installation design, making it very easy to install:

- Align the snaps: Align the front cover with the snap-on slots on the front of the module.

- Press to secure: Starting from the top or bottom of the module, gently press the front cover until you hear a "click" sound, indicating that the snaps are locked.

- Check for stability: Gently pull the front cover to confirm that it will not loosen or fall off.
