Description

The motherboard is the core circuit board of the Biocare PM900 monitor, typically located in the center of the device. It can only be accessed by removing the back cover or outer casing. It is the largest circuit board inside the monitor, housing the CPU, memory, various interface controllers, and other core components. The motherboard also connects to other internal circuit boards, the display screen, the keyboard, and other components, thus controlling the monitor's measurements and operation. How to install?

- Disconnect the monitor's power cord and all patient connection cables. Wear an anti-static wrist strap and operate on an anti-static workbench.

- Using a suitable screwdriver, unscrew all the screws securing the monitor's casing. Carefully separate the front and rear covers, being careful of any hidden clips.

- Mark or photograph the locations of all cables and ribbon cables connected to the motherboard. This will help users reconnect all cables and ribbon cables to the motherboard using the original connection method after replacement.

- Carefully remove the screws from the motherboard and smoothly remove it from the rack.

- Align the new motherboard with the mounting holes on the monitor bracket, carefully insert it, and tighten all screws.

- Connect the internal cables and ribbon cables.

- Plug in the power cord and power on the monitor. Observe whether the device starts normally and whether there are any abnormal sounds or smells. If the test is normal, disconnect the power, reinstall the device casing, and tighten all screws to complete the installation.
