Description

The trackball on the Mindray DC-60 is an ergonomically designed control device, usually located in the lower middle of the main keyboard of the ultrasound machine, making it convenient for doctors to operate. Its core function is to replace the mouse, used for almost all operations that require cursor movement, such as positioning, measurement, menu selection, and adjustment of the sampling frame on ultrasound images.

Functions:

- Cursor movement and control: By scrolling the trackball with your finger, you can precisely control the cursor position on the screen for selecting menus, clicking buttons, measuring lesions, etc.

- Menu navigation and function selection: The trackball can quickly and accurately navigate these menus, select different imaging modes (such as B-mode, M-mode, color Doppler, etc.), and adjust parameters.

- Image annotation and measurement: The trackball can be used like a mouse to mark, annotate, or measure images.

- Use with buttons: The trackball is usually surrounded by several programmable function keys. Users can assign frequently used functions to these keys and then achieve efficient integrated operation by using the "trackball to move the cursor + button confirmation" method.

How to install the trackball:

- Turn off the ultrasound machine and unplug the power cord. Remove the built-in battery.

- Open the back cover, remove the retaining rod, and take out the faulty trackball.

- Clean the trackball slot, ensuring no dust remains.

- Place the new trackball into the slot, connect the signal cable, and secure the retaining rod.

- Reinstall the power board, back cover, heat dissipation filter, and built-in battery.

- Connect the ultrasound machine power supply and check the trackball's response sensitivity and the smoothness of cursor movement.
