This adult fingertip oximetry sensor is designed for noninvasive, continuous monitoring of a patient's blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse rate. Model DLG-011-0207, 3 meters long, with an 11-pin connector, is compatible with most GE monitors.

• Finger Clip Design: Typically constructed with a soft, spring-loaded hinge, it easily clips onto a patient's finger or toe.
• Working Principle: Utilizes pulse oximetry. One side of the sensor emits two wavelengths of light (red and infrared), which pass through human tissue. A photodetector on the other side receives the transmitted light and measures changes in light absorption during arterial blood pulsation to calculate blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate.
• Connection Cable: The sensor has a specific plug on the end that must mate with the monitor port. Different monitor models may require different cable types; compatibility must be confirmed when purchasing or replacing them.
• Durability: As a reusable device, it is designed to withstand frequent use and sterilization in a clinical setting.
