Description

The monitor parameter circuit board is one of the core components of the medical monitor, which is mainly responsible for collecting, processing, transmitting and displaying the patient's physiological parameter signals. Physiological signals (such as weak ECG signals) need to be amplified and analog-to-digital converted (ADC) before they can be recognized by the processor. The circuit boards with different functions work together to ensure that the monitor can monitor the patient's vital signs in real time and accurately.

Parameter:

- ECG: Captures weak electrical signals generated by cardiac electrical activity through body surface electrodes (usually 3/5/12 leads).

- SpO2: Red light (660nm) and infrared light (940nm) pass through fingers/earlobes and other parts, and photodiodes detect the intensity of transmitted/reflected light. Oxygenated hemoglobin (HbO₂) and reduced hemoglobin (Hb) have different absorption rates for light of different wavelengths, and SpO2 is calculated by the ratio.

- NIBP: The cuff is pressurized to block arterial blood flow, and the pressure oscillation wave is detected when it is slowly deflated. The maximum oscillation amplitude corresponds to the mean arterial pressure (MAP), and then the systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) are calculated.

- Temp: The resistance value of the thermistor changes with temperature.
