► Connecting probes

It is not necessary to turn off the system to connect or disconnect the probe.

Before connecting or disconnecting the probe, ensure that it is not actively scanning. You must do one of the following:

• Activate Stop mode with the Freeze key.

• Activate Ready mode with the MENU key.

If the probe is disconnected during an active scan, a software error may occur. In this case, restart the system.

How to Use

1. Insert the probe connector directly into the probe socket on the ultrasound system.

2. Turn the knob clockwise to lock the connector.

3. The excess cable can be hung on the hook on the ultrasound system.
