The water trap has 2 semi-permeable membranes for inhaling the patient's gas measurements. These separate water and retain only the breathable and liquid-tight elements. Designed to significantly increase airflow resistance and prevent water penetration in contact with water.

The Edan G2 CO2 Dehumidifying Cup is the next step in CO2 monitoring, extending module life and enabling accurate sampling at lower sampling rates (70~100 mL/min) or higher respiratory rates (more 60 bpm) designed to address common technical issues such as drain failures and error readings at lower sample rates.

Excellent feature: The Edan G2 CO2 cup is pumped by two channels. where one is connected to the vent and the other is used only to drain the water in the tank. The unidirectional structure design of the second channel prevents air from returning when inhaling. The dehumidifying cup uses a curved dehumidifying chamber. which effectively reduces the dead angle and increases the drainage capacity.
