Power PCA performs the following functions:
1. Analogous front for ECG electrodes.
2. Impedance measurement for the Blade Connection Indicator (PCI) function.
3. Generation and control of pacing waveforms according to PCA control instructions.
4. Monitoring of pacemaker function as prescribed by the PCA for monitoring:
a)to charge the capacitor to the correct power level.
b) Power supply and waveform control
c) Discharge capacitor (discharge).
1. Disconnect the patient connector from the power supply PCA.
A. Disconnect the 9-pin connector and press the latch to release.
B. Tighten with the needle clamp to disconnect the two high pressure vane connectors.
2. Disconnect the battery PCA from the power PCA.
A. Disconnect the large white 4-pin connector and press the latch to release. This connector has four battery wires (two red, two black).
B.Disconnect the small 2-pin connector; Press the latch to release.
3. Disconnect the power supply.
A. Disconnect the 6-pin connector from the Power PCA and press the latch to release. Note that it only contains three wires.
B. Disconnect the 4-pin PCA connector from the power supply, press the latch to release.
4. Disconnect the controller PCA ribbon cable. Disconnect the large ribbon cable from the control PCA. The other end should have been disconnected from the control PCA.
5. Remove the power supply PCA.
A. Remove the 6-T10 screws from the Power PCA.
B. Lift the Power PCA and loop it around the patient interface and backrest.
Tip: Lift the back edge of the PCA (near the power supply) first. Then drive the PCA to the right to release the patient connector and case and lift the PCA out of the case
The PCA parameter performs the following functions:
1. Connect the ECG lead, ECG output cable, and SpO2 module.
2. Analog ECG terminal for 3 and 5 lead ECGs.
3. SpO2 on/off logic and patient isolation
The Power Supply provides regulated DC power to the unit and charges the Battery
