Power Supply
The AC/DC converter converts the AC power from the socket to 48V/120W DC and isolates the monitoring system from the AC power source. 48V is distributed through the busbar and supplies all system components: The 56V DC power required to extend the FMS, MMS and metering servers is provided by an isolated DC/DC converter. The power required for the backlight is converted to 12V DC by the DC/DC backlight converter. This processor is powered by a voltage of 3.3 V and 5 V DC. The conversion takes place in two steps: The first DC/DC converter is a power conditioner which reduces fluctuations caused by changes in load on the 48V power strip. Another DC/DC converter converts the current into the required voltage. The interface card requires 10V AC power. The HIF and LED cards are powered by an unregulated 12V DC power supply. Removing Power Supply
When replacing the power supply, the monitor must be charged with the serial number. Auxiliary tools are required for this task. For details on how to submit a new serial number, see Instructions for Using Support Tools.
1. Remove the cable management cover and white plastic cover as described in Removing the I / O board.
2. Remove the top cover on the back of the monitor. It is divided into two parts, the middle part is divided first.
3. Rotate the monitor towards you.
4 .Disconnect the colored power cord.
5. Use a T20 screwdriver to remove the two screws (one at the top and one at the bottom)
6. Move the power supply to the top of the monitor and remove it.
Installation NOTE: When reinstalling, please switch the power to the bottom of the monitor (from step 6 above).
