GE 3Sc-RS Wide Band PHiliphhilipased Array Probe is Applications: Abdomen, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Basic Cardiac, fetal heart, Vascular, Urology, Pediatric/Neonatal, transcranial, coronary, stress, LVO contrast, LVO stress, vascular, ED (FAST, Pleural, Orbits).

Helps improve near field imaging, decreases vessel fill-in, increases contrast and detail resolution and helps provide optimized imaging.

► Connect the probe

Probes can be connected at any time, whether the system is on or off.

1. Before connecting the probe:

• Inspect the probe and the probe cable for any damage.

• Do a visual check of the probe pins and system sockets. Remove any dust or foam remains from the probe pins.

2. Hold the probe connector vertically with the cable pointing upward.
3. Turn the connector locking handle counterclockwise.
4. Align the connector with the probe port and carefully push into place.
5. Turn the locking handle clockwise to the full vertical position to lock in place.
6. Position the probe cable so that it is not resting on the floor.

► Probe Manual Cleaning Instructions

1. Put on a clean pair of gloves and fill a sink or basin with warm potable water (30 - 40°C) to a level allowing immersion of the probe up to the immersion line shown.
2. Prepare the cleaning solution in accordance with the disinfectant manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Immerse the probe in the prepared cleaning solution up to the immersion line and ensure no air bubbles are trapped on the surface. Do not submerge probe beyond the immersion line shown.

► Storing probes
It is recommended that all probes be stored in the carrying case provided.

• First place the probe connector into the carrying case.
• Carefully wind the cable into the carrying case.
• Carefully place the probe head into the carrying case. DO NOT use excessive force or impact the probe face.
