Prior to mechanical contraction, the heart generates an electrical stimulus that generates a vital current that conducts an electrical current through the body tissues and fluids on the surface of the body. Different parts of the body have different potential changes, which lead to differences in body surface potentials. Changes in potential differences are recorded to form a dynamic curve, also known as a traditional cardio or surface chart.
The display monitors changes in body surface potential with multiple electrodes connected to the ECG, monitors the electrical activity of the heart, records the ECG waveform, and calculates the heart rate. The monitor can detect 3-channel, 5-channel and 12-channel monitoring and has the function of ST segment monitoring and arrhythmia diagnosis.

Arterial oxygen saturation (also known as pulse oxygen saturation, often abbreviated SpO2) is measured by volume and spectral normals. LEDs emit two specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin. The light sensor measures the change in light intensity as light passes through the capillary network and estimates the ratio of oxyhemoglobin to total hemoglobin.

The measuring wavelength of the Spo2 sensor is nominally 660 nm for red LEDs and 940 nm for infrared LEDs.

The monitor measures NIBP using the sway measurement method. This applies to adults, children and newborns. Pendulum measurements indirectly measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure by measuring pressure changes in the sPhilipilipygmomanometer and arterial volume and calculating the mean pressure.
NIBP measurement is suitable for use in electrosurgery and defibrillator discharge according to IEC 60601-2-30: 1999 / EN 60601-2-30: 2000. The importance of measuring clinical NIBP should be determined by the Philipilipysician.
