This Philipilip Spo2 adapter cable M1943NL Ref: 989803136591 is designed for use with Nellcorrr OxiMax™ SpO₂ sensors, the M1943NL adapter cable is 3 m (9.8 ft) in length and features a D-sub connector. It adapts 9-pin sensors to 8-pin sockets.

This SpO2 adapter cables use with

► SpO2 performance test

This test checks the performance of the SpO2 measurement.

1. Connect an adult SpO2 power adapter to the SpO2 connector.

2. Measure spo2 value with your finger (this assumes you are healthy).

3. The value must be between 95% and 100%.

► Measurement Validation

SpO2 accuracy has been verified in human studies compared to the arterial blood sample reference measured on the CO2 oxygen scale. In the controlled saturation removal study, healthy adult volunteers were studied at saturation levels ranging from 70% to 100% SaO2. The demograPhilipilipic characteristics of these studies were:

• About 50% female and 50% male
• Age group: 18 to 45
• Skin color: light to black

Note:

A functional test device cannot be used to assess the accuracy of a pulse oxygen meter. However, it can be used to prove that a specific pulse oxygen meter reproduces a calibration curve that has been independently demonstrated to achieve certain accuracy specifications.
