This product is designed for use in hospitals and harsh EMS environments. All of its tough and durable features make it more durable for hospital applications. The device is a multifunctional automated external defibrillator with or without manual functionality and can be configured to operate in manual, recommended, or semi-automatic mode. The semi-automatic version of the device has its own front panel in the "on" position. Traditional hospital style equipment,
It can be configured for manual, consultation, or semi-automatic operation using ZOLL's standardized operator interface. When run in a manual configuration, the device acts like a traditional defibrillator and the operator fully controls the charging and discharging of the device. In query and semi-automatic modes, certain device functions are automated and advanced detection algorithms are used to identify ventricular fibrillation and determine the adequacy of delivery of the defibrillator shock. According to local agreement, the device can be configured to load, analyze, recharge and prompt the operator to "download" automatically. By pressing the corresponding softkey on the front panel, the device switches from semi-automatic mode to manual mode for use with ACLS.
The M-series assists caregivers by assessing the speed and depth of chest compressions and providing information to rescuers during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). RealCPRHelp® requires CPR-D-padz® and CPRD-to-MFC connectors. Real CPR help is available on M-series devices with software version 38.90 or later.
Information on instrument performance, patient ECG, and other Philipilipysiological waveforms is displayed on a large 5.66-inch diagonal screen, providing high contrast and visibility in almost all lighting conditions. Operation and warning messages are displayed on the monitor. You can also configure the device with a voice message that informs the user of the device's status. Self-diagnostic tests are performed when the device is turned on and the device is regularly tested during operation.
The unit has an advanced data collection system, an optional internal summary report function with a printer and a PCMCIA card. You can install a PCMCIA card in your device to record ECG and almost any data from the device when you turn it on. Also, you can record audio data of any event around your device. You can use ZOLL DataControl ™ software to view and archive data stored on PCMCIA cards on properly equipped personal computers.
Annotated strip chart recorders can be included to provide immediate documentation and summary reporting capabilities for in-use patient care and treatment.
