Masimo today announced that it has begun general availability of the Masimo W1™ health watch for consumers.

Through more than 30 years of innovation and continuous breakthrough research and development progress, Maxino has the clinically proven SET® pulse oximeter technology and can integrate similar monitoring technology into a watch in a small size. The W1 ™ watch they launched this time can provide accurate and continuous monitoring results and instructive health data. The wrist-worn, wearable design is convenient and friendly, and it is an ideal non-invasive blood parameter monitoring solution.

According to Maxino, the W 1™ is the first device to provide accurate, continuous monitoring of oxygen saturation (SpO2) in a watch form, in addition to pulse rate, respiration rate, perfusion index (Pi) and More other parameter measurements, users can wear this device at any time, whether it is during various activities such as exercise or night sleep mode, it can monitor various health data of the user in time. In the product launch press release, the company also mentioned that Masimo W1™ can also provide body hydration index (BHI) measurement data in select regions.

Capable of taking 86,400 measurements per day, the device can trend the data second by second. Similar to common smart watches, Masimo W1 ™ needs to be paired with the Masimo Health App via Bluetooth. Masimo W1 ™ is currently priced at $499 on its official website, including a 3-year warranty.
